From 4th to 19th august
First, I'm just a little French dude borned in Poitiers, in a cyclist family. Became very early a mountain bike racer, then finally a versatile racer (MTB, Road, Track, CX and more).
Then I became completely passionnated by this kind of two wheels machine in every kinds of uses.
Just the tool and his potential is awesome.
Working on bicycle market since more than 10 years, real adventurer in my soul, who would like to discover more and more the travel by bike, where the bike is used on his peak, elimating all the borders...

What is the French Divide ?
It's an kind of adventure bike race concept from US mainly where the goal is to join the A point to the B point, by roads, gravel tracks and trails, without assistance, in a complete autonomie so.
Imported and organized in France for the first time by two friends : Samuel Becuwe who was finisher of the TCR 2014 and 2015 and his training and drinking beer partner Lionel Gardebien.
So The French Divide is borned thanks to this guys and will joined, from 6th august 2016 Bray Dunes (Franco-Belgian border) to Hasparren (Basque Country, Spain border), crossing mountain regions in France like : Morvan, Massif Central, Rocamadour, Nore, Tarn and will finish by the Saint Jacques de Compostelle pelerins footpath in the Pyrennees...
Without assistance and in maximum 14 days to be classified.
Around 2000km and 27 000m elevation.

The challenge for me is huge because I never race this kind of course, I'm letteraly a newbie.
I pre registred myself and I am in the first 50 riders and be sure to join the race who is announcing epic.
